Martha Clark Lofgren named Sacramentan of the Year

Brewer Lofgren LLP Founder and Partner, Martha Clark Lofgren, has been named the 2015 ‘Sacramentan of the Year’ by the Sacramento Metro Chamber. Lofgren, an experienced attorney specializing in public policy, economic development and land entitlement, will receive this lifetime community award Friday, January 29th at the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s 121st Annual Dinner & Business Awards at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento.

Prior to founding Brewer Lofgren LLP nearly 10 years ago, Lofgren served a collective 12 years as the City Manager and City Attorney for the City of Folsom and championed many efforts impacting the region at-large including securing federal funding for the construction of a new bridge to replace the closed roadway over Folsom Dam and negotiating eminent domain settlements for Lake Natoma Crossing. Additionally, she played a significant role navigating our region’s economic blueprint, the Next Economy plan, and served as Interim President & CEO, Sacramento Metro Chamber in 2011. Lofgren is a staunch advocate in motivating women to serve on organizational Boards throughout the region and has herself served as Chair for the Folsom Lake College Foundation, Chair of the Board for both Valley Vision and the Sacramento Metro Chamber, member of the Board for the B Street Theatre and will serve next year on the Board for the American Leadership Forum.
