Center to offer veteran entrepreneurs and small business owners FREE assistance developing, growing and expanding local businesses

WHAT:

Just ahead of Veteran’s Day, Placer County veteran entrepreneurs and small business owners will have a new resource for business development and expansion. The Capital Region Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will officially open their doors in Placer County at the Sierra College Veterans Center offering professional business consulting appointments to assist veterans with new business startups and help existing veteran-owned businesses grow through business loans and capital. Dedicated to assisting small businesses succeed, the Capital Region SBDC is a partnership between the Sacramento Metro Chamber, the Sacramento State College of Business Administration and 11 hub partner organizations that help deliver SBDC services geographically throughout the eight county service area. To date this year, the Capital Region SBDC has helped 23 new businesses open their doors, counseled over 500 clients and raised over $6.7 million in capital in the region.
