There’s still time to register for Lemonade Day Sacramento on July 30th! Youth throughout our region will be able to participate in a free, online entrepreneurship learning experience. Our local version of a national program teaches young people how to set goals, implement a plan, and troubleshoot problems, all while earning their own money. At the end of the event, participants are encouraged to “spend some, save some, and share some” of their profits.
This will be the fourth year Metro Chamber has hosted Lemonade Day in Sacramento. Since 2019, we’ve been encouraging young people to build their entrepreneurship and problem-solving skills. In fact, Sacramento Lemonade Day has grown from a 45-student-pilot at a single school to a 1,600-student, region-wide program available online. Some of last year’s lemonade stands were even featured on Good Day Sacramento!
We can’t wait to see what this year’s Lemonade Stand event will bring. If you know a young person who would like to participate, there’s still time for them to get registered here: https://lemonadeday.org/sacramento
