Blog: Get Involved with Inspire Giving’s 2017 Project

Metro Foundation Avatar

Every year, Inspire Giving members volunteer their time and resources to support a non-profit through a yearly project. This year, Inspire Giving chose Lilliput Families. We will be assisting Lilliput in updating and beautifying their parking lot and entrances to their Citrus Heights Family and Training Center. These renovations will help Lilliput continue to create an environment where all those who visit feel welcomed and inspired. This will empower Lilliput Families to continue as a vital contributor to the well-being of children and families in this region.

How to Get Involved in 2017

The yearly project is an opportunity for members, or for those interested in joining Inspire Giving, to roll up their sleeves and volunteer their time and resources. Volunteer days will be announced quarterly so stay tuned. Inspire Giving is also accepting in-kind donations for construction/design services, supplies, and materials. If you or your company are interested in donating services or materials to the yearly project, please contact Andrea Ellinghouse, Program Manager of the Metro Chamber Foundation.

Why consider becoming a member of Inspire Giving?

By becoming a member of Inspire Giving, you have an opportunity to help a non-profit like Lilliput Families every year. As a member of the Inspire Giving Fund, individuals have the opportunity to combine their one-time donation with others to create an endowment. All individuals who have invested in Inspire Giving collaboratively select, via a voting process, how the endowment’s income will be distributed to a charitable organization within the Sacramento region.

Becoming an Inspire Giving member means you become part of a network of peers who share a common passion: to make a positive social impact in the Sacramento region by joining other donors to celebrate philanthropy and together, make a larger financial impact than one individual could ever make on their own.
