In-person or virtual tickets are available for the young professionals event of the year that has a spirited #ChallengeAccepted theme

Spearheaded by Metro EDGE, a program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation, the Emerge Summit is scheduled for Thursday, September 15, 2022 at The Sofia in Midtown Sacramento. Celebrating nine years and offered in-person or virtually, the Emerge Summit is the largest young professionals conference on the west coast. The annual event is an action-packed day-long collaborative effort of regional organizations committed to supporting young professionals and their growth in the community. Each year, hundreds of Sacramento’s emerging young professionals participate in the personal and professional development conference which includes inspirational speeches, educational breakout sessions, and coveted opportunities to network with peers.

With a #ChallengeAccepted theme designed to inspire young professionals to dream big, do the work and achieve their greatest potential, participants will engage with a diverse network, develop critical business skills, focus on giving back to the community, and learn the importance of an empower leadership mindset. The Emerge Summit will provide young professionals with a sense of belonging and encourage them to work together to explore individual and community needs.

“The Metro Foundation is incredibly proud to present the Emerge Summit each year,” said Andrea Ollanik, Executive Director of the Metro Chamber Foundation. “The conversations around personal and regional growth often serve as a catalyst for forward movement. Plus, connections attendees make at the Emerge Summit can pave the path to future partnerships and exciting opportunities.”

The Emerge Summit is unique in that it activates the local business community for the conference. The morning session is hosted at B Street Theater but then attendees change locations for three different breakout opportunities and for lunch, activating the local businesses within walking distance. Harlow’s, Red Rabbit, Centro, Red Dog Real Estate, and CLARA are some of the participating venues. The event will conclude with a happy hour at Harlow’s celebrating young professionals and the endless opportunity of impact they have within their futures.

Throughout the conference, attendees will be exposed to a variety of interactive experiences that represent the creative economy. There will be activations throughout the day from the Sacramento Kings, Sac Republic FC, SPCA, Department of Sound, Atrium916, and many more.

Breakout sessions are led by business and community leaders to develop both personal and professional skillsets. Topics range from how to conquer your fears to learning about search engine optimization.

The 2022 Emerge Summit is proudly presented by the UC Davis Graduate School of Management and is sponsored by Comstock’s Magazine, Raley’s, SAFE Credit Union, SMUD, Sutter Health, UC Davis Health, and Unleashing Leaders along with many other dedicated businesses and organizations.

Each Emerge Summit attendee will receive an experience swag bag with goodies from local businesses to use for networking opportunities. Individual or group tickets are available to participate in the Emerge Summit in person or virtually, range in cost from $70 to $150, and are available via Eventbrite.
