In partnership with the Office of Mayor Darrell Steinberg, we are excited to announce that Thousand Strong will be back for its seventh year in a row!
Our mission at Thousand Strong is to work together with local
businesses to solve the lack of a local, skilled, experienced young
workforce. Our year-round internship program matches talented
students with businesses and then readies those interns for success
on the job.
As high school students submit their interest to participate, we are recruiting employers located in the City of Sacramento to sponsor a student and provide a productive internship experience.
