52nd Annual Capitol-to-Capitol program sees strong registration start

Metro Chamber Avatar

The Sacramento Metro Chamber’s annual advocacy program to Washington D.C., known as Capitol-to-Capitol or Cap-to-Cap, opened in mid-December to a rush of early registration. With such strong registration numbers this year, we wholly anticipate selling out. This year’s program dates are April 13-17, 2024 and our Cap-to-Cap delegation, represented through thirteen policy teams, will collectively advocate on the most pressing policy needs in the region. Throughout the five-day program elected and thought leaders, change and decision makers meet with federal legislators as well as various government departments and non-governmental agencies to drive forward asks for funding and policy making to benefit the Sacramento Region.

While then much smaller and more focused, the program began in 1970 and quickly grew in both size and influence. For more than five decades now, the Sacramento Metro Chamber has recognized that the strength of our business community, representing six counties and twenty-two cities, is reflected in the strength of our advocacy efforts. The program is focused on proposing policies that benefit the business community, driving economic growth, and improving the quality of life for California’s Capital Region. The Cap-to-Cap program has long been recognized as the largest regional chamber delegation that advocates nationally every year and this year it’s poised to sell out early. Those who wish to take advantage of the current best pricing should register before February 11, 2024, when the next tier of date-based pricing goes into effect. Registration will remain open here until the program reaches capacity. Sponsorship opportunities are available to member companies by contacting Susan Brazelton.
