On January 5, 2021, the Sacramento City Council approved the Master Siting, Programmatic, Operations and Financing Plan to Address (Homeless Master Plan). The Council continue to lead workshops with the community, providers, and expert partners to identify site locations, operational best practices, programs and services, and financial resources to be included in the Homeless Master Plan. On April 8, 2021, the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce hosted a townhall with Mayor Darrell Steinberg and the Sacramento business community, to hear more about the Mayor’s Homeless Master Plan. This event gave the business community the chance to hear from Mayor Steinberg directly, to discuss the Homeless Master Plan and to provide feedback and ask questions.
