Statement on New Regional Transit General Manager, Henry Li
In response to the Sacramento Regional Transit District’s (RT) naming Henry Li as new General Manager, Sacramento Metro Chamber President and CEO, Peter Tateishi and Valley Vision Chief Executive, Bill Mueller issued the following statement:
“We are excited to welcome Henry Li to the Capital Region and to Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT).
RT is a critical infrastructure system that should reflect the vibrancy of our region and our growing economy. Public transit not only brings neighborhoods together but is a critical factor to our social welfare and our continued economic development and growth. There is much work to be done and Li, with a proven track record of turning around transportation agencies, is arriving at a pivotal time for the Capital Region.
Valley Vision and the Sacramento Metro Chamber stand ready to assist and support Li as he brings to life the future of our transit system for our region and we look forward to the many conversations to come.”
