Foster Youth Luggage Drive & Fundraiser

CBS 13 and KMAX 31 are partnering with Myndz Resources Foundation to restore dignity and hope to Foster Care youth in our community. On any given day, there are nearly 437,000 children in foster care in the United States, and in California, there are over 60,000 children in the foster care system. Many children in California’s foster care system experience frequent placement changes and carry their possessions between placements in a trash bag. The goal is to obtain donations from viewers in order to provide luggage for foster children and teens rather than trash bags. All donations go to in need foster youth in our community.
