Community Leaders

The Sacramento Metro Chamber’s Capitol-to-Capitol (“Cap-to-Cap”) is entering its 53rd year of advocacy for our six-county region. With a new administration taking office, there will be ongoing changes taking place in Washington D.C., but with a collective voice, we can identify challenges and opportunities for all sectors of our community.

Since 1970 our program has traveled to Washington DC to represent the needs of our Capital Region, and we remain the largest and longest-standing chamber led delegation of its kind in the nation. Cap-to-Cap has driven steady and consistent advocacy, ushering significant opportunities for business development, an inclusive economy and a vibrant and connected region.

To be sure, there are some big issues to address, including transportation, the environment, housing, health care, regulations, education, jobs, food systems, wildfire and more. None of these issues are easy to solve, requiring a diverse, community-based collaboration here at home, which is why the Cap-to-Cap program works so well as a platform. By working on mutually agreeable solutions locally and regionally, we can then enlist the support and commitment of our federal policymakers and agencies.

In 2025, we will once again send knowledgeable and driven community leaders representing all sectors of economy to Capitol Hill to advocate on critical issues with a goal of a more prosperous and sustainable region.

Each of your voices plays a role in developing and advocating for our collective goals. We hope that you will add your voice to the many who are committed to advocacy and connection in the Capital Region.

In Partnership,

2025 Cap-to-Cap Program Chair
