What is the Annual Study Mission?
The Sacramento Metro Chamber organizes an annual Study Mission to a destination in North America for the purpose of learning best practices, expanding thinking, inspiring new ideas and provoking meaningful collaboration. Past Study Mission cities included visits to Toronto in 2023, Indianapolis in 2019, Brooklyn in 2018 and Chicago in 2015, just to name a few. Some of the programs and projects that resulted from past Study Missions include the following: The Railyards development, Old Sacramento redesign, Sacramento Brandathon, Emerge Summit for young professionals, Measures Q & R, and more.
