| | The Sacramento Children's Museum is a hands-on museum where children are encouraged to think for themselves, expand their problem-solving abilities through creative exploration, and exercise both their minds and bodies. The museum includes Waterways, Raceways, Airways, Studio of the Arts, Leo's Market, My Neighborhood, Solar Car Racers and Baby Bloomers exhibits.
The Sacramento Children’s Museum strongly believes that play is an essential part of a child’s “work.” Imaginative, hands-on environments provide children with a gateway for opening up their minds to developing new abilities, building confidence, and making connections between their dreams and their real world experiences. | Member Since: 2012

| | Teach For America has been working alongside communities in California for more than 20 years. This year, we were thrilled to expand our partnership to the city of Sacramento where 15 corps members are impacting almost 1,000 students in our charter year. They are working alongside local partners and nearly 100 area alumni to expand educational opportunities for students in Sacramento. The region is supported by a dedicated base of donors and champions, and regional staff members work to train and support corps members, establish connections with local schools and districts, and continue to grow the regional funding base to ensure that Teach For America – Sacramento can increase its impact by serving more and more students in future years.
