About the Sacramento
Metro Chamber Foundation
The mission of the
Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation is to support organizations
and programs that strengthen the business climate by improving the
overall quality of life in the Sacramento region.
The Foundation aligns its strategy with the Metro Chamber’s
community development efforts by reaching out to organizations and
programs that benefits small business, business and community
leadership, and which advance education and workforce development
in the Sacramento region. The Metro Chamber Foundation contributes
to those efforts through charitable giving, in-kind and other
non-financial support, and aligns with opportunities that advance
Metro Chamber programs and strategic objectives.
The Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation was introduced in January
2005, and was created to meet a long-standing desire by members to
add a charitable giving component to Metro Chamber activities. The
Foundation aligns its strategy with the Metro Chamber’s annual
business objectives. The Foundation’s activities includes
support of Leadership
Sacramento and business scholarship programs.
In addition to grants and giving to financially benefit causes in
the community, the Foundation also provides in-kind and other
non-financial support, using its affiliation to the Metro Chamber
to advocate on behalf of organizations and programs within our
network of nearly 2,500 member businesses and professional
associations.
